Campaign “Freedom for Syria” of the Syrian opposition in Bulgaria and Intelday Solutions aimed at provoking media attention and public awareness in Syrian situation. According to unofficial information between 35 000 and 49 600 people died during that time in Syria. The campaign had three main areas: media performances; relations with NGOs and civil rights advocates; and government advocacy.
Intelday team and the Syrian opposition in Bulgaria won the first place in the category “Public Affairs” at the IPRA World Golden Awards 2012. The campaign was nominated for a special prize of the UN, which has traditionally served to promote professional communication in solving problems of high public interest.
